Really Great Reading

Turning complex literacy into one clear story

Really Great Reading offers a broad range of structured literacy programs for students from PreK through 12th grade. The campaign brought that story together through a hero motion piece and supporting digital creative.

The Challenge

RGR had a lot to communicate: multiple programs, research, statistics, and outcomes, all within a clear and cohesive two-minute story. The messaging needed to stay engaging without losing depth or precision. Visually, with no characters or playful illustration, the campaign needed a distinctive style built primarily around photography and type, strong enough to communicate even without sound.

Creative Direction

We built the campaign around a bold collage language combining black-and-white photography, torn paper, expressive typography, and RGR’s color palette. The tactile, paper-based aesthetic connected naturally to reading, books, and the classroom, while its editorial quality gave key messages and statistics more urgency and impact.

The Work

The campaign system was designed to move seamlessly between storytelling and short-form advertising, keeping the same visual language and message across every touchpoint.
